Fireworks are Illegal

Fireworks are illegal in New York City. The illegal use of fireworks can lead to serious burns, injuries, fires and even death, especially for children ages 10-14. The FDNY would like to encourage everyone to avoid using fireworks in the city and stay safe during this celebratory season.
