Fire Prevention Week 2015
October 2, 2015#FDNYSmart Spring Safety Tips!
April 11, 2016Hi friends!
Hot Dog AND Siren here for a special edition of Smart Barks, our Fire and Life Safety blog.
As you know, we are the official mascots of the FDNY. Hot Dog is a full-grown Dalmatian dog and provides educational materials and entertaining tips on fire and burn safety to children in classrooms, online and at special events throughout the City. Siren is a full-grown Labrador and has been an EMT in New York City since she was a young pup! She provides New Yorkers with life safety tips to keep everyone healthy and safe.
Together, we work to keep all New Yorkers educated so they’ll be safe from fire and so they’ll know what to do in any kind of emergency.
Now, we have a special announcement! For the first time, you can own your very own plush Hot Dog and Siren! These limited edition, plush versions of your favorite fire and life safety mascots are available for pre-sale until November 27 – when they officially go on sale at fdnyshop.com!
Get yours now & remember, you can help keep your family safe by checking out all of our tips on fdnysmart.org. Plus, be sure to follow us on Twitter! You can find Hot Dog here and Siren here.
Thanks for stopping by & we hope you’ll bring us into your homes!
Happy holidays!
